The Basement

We finally started our basement! Yes.
So hopefully our house will be a third bigger
within the next 3 months

Craig turned 27... yikes

Craig and all 3 kids at the mall!

Craig turned 27 last Wed. on the 5th of Dec. I can't believe he is so close to 30! Yikes. I keep reminding him how old he is, I think he really appreciates it. For his special day, he celebrated by taking off half a day from work and we took the kids to see "Bee Movie" (which was cute, by the way, and kept the kids pretty entertained), then we went Christmas shopping at the mall. Yeah we are nuts, shopping with a baby and 2 toddlers for "fun." We rented a movie on the way home and had Birthday PIE (Craig and I hate cake) with just one candle. I was going to do 27, but I was a little worried that the smoke detectors might go off. Sorry sweetie.

Aunt Heather "bonding" (as Matt calls it) with Ethan.

Sushi and Tennis

So I guess I'm a sick yuppy now. Craig and I finally went out for Sushi over the Thanksgiving break, and it was a blast. A little strange at first to be eating raw fish, yikes, but once you get over that, it's not too bad. Craig loved it. Not so much the sushi, but he said it was like extreme eating. He loved the adrenaline rush. Then the next day we went to the park and played tennis with Meggie and Ashton. What a blast! We were pretty equally matched, we all sucked, but it was fun anyway. So sushi and tennis. Like I said, yuppies.

Hanging Christmas lights

Craig spent most of saturday on our roof, the things he does for me! I'm such a slave driver.

Twilight

So I just read the book twilight in less than a day and I am totally hooked on my little Vampire love saga. I think Edward just moved up to the #2 spot on my favorite literary heroes of all time list. Only after Mr. Darcy of course. If you haven't read the book, I highly suggest it, but be prepared to get a major crush on a completely fictitious person.

TGIF

So basically my kids are monsters! Well, maybe not monsters, but they're opportunists. If you looked up Murphy's Law in the dictionary you'd see a picture of my daughter Hannah's face. So today I went to pick Hannah and Carter up from my friend's house and when I put the kids in Hannah climbed into the front seat and locked the door, with the car running and my 4 week old baby inside. NICE. Talk about mommy stress. Then, as I'm playing the "can you push that button again for mommy?" game, Carter climbs into the driver's seat and starts psychotically pushing every button and pulling on the wheel. "Great," I think "He's going to throw it into reverse and the car is going to go rolling down the street with my 3 kids in it" Now I really start to panic. Eventually, she unlocked the door. But now I've learned my lesson, never leave the keys in the ignition, unless Hannah's strapped in.

I know she looks cute but don't be fooled, she's dangerous.
